Hello my revivers this is a quick video showing you how to get any area rug to lay flat.
How to make an area rug lay flat.
It was a great size for my small office space underneath my desk.
Remove the gripper pad.
Lay the gripper pad on top of the rug.
Brush the pile of the rug with your hand.
If the ends still curl up move to the next steps.
If the pile stands up you are rubbing against the pile.
Lay the gripper pad on the floor where you want the throw rug.
Stand at the edge of the rug where the pile runs flat or smooth.
Cut a gripper pad or backing to fit the rug.
If it lies flat you are rubbing with the pile.
Take a wet towel and moisten the areas where the carpet is curling.
Ideally there should be furniture holding the rug on all four sides but if the furniture is heavy enough simply anchoring it on two opposite sides may be enough.
If they still curl upward place heavy books at each corner for another day.
Measure in 1 2 inch from the edge of the rug.
If corners still curl upward flip the rug over and let it sit that way.
Then take an iron and set it to a medium heat.
Please share and thumbs up.

With the towel still covering the carpeted area hold down the iron and press.
Many times this will allow the rug to lay smooth for a while.
Cut around each side on the marks you made.
This should flatten the areas out.
