In the submersed form it looks almost same as an emersed form with cushion like growth or low carpet. It s almost tempted me to start a palaudarium. Just started my hc carpet 1 5week ago going to complete the emerse to submerge stage. Mosses in particular have very different emersed structures and can be quite cool looking. Another two weeks and i expect it will be covered. I don t think emersed growth works as well for hairgrass in terms of getting a very thick coverage like with hc.
